  3. Oh, Jill, I just read the opening you posted about the Tiki Goddess series. It sounds darling. I must say, a mystery series about a divorced heroine living at the ends of the earth is a plot I can relate to…

I will buy one in July–and most likely read it in Hawaii.

    Love,
    Kathy

P.S. Hey, can I post pictures on here? I have a some great pictures of you at the Queen Victoria’s tea party at my house in Long Beach. I thought it was funny looking at them. You are quite the lady. If one judges by pictures, Hawaii has made you more funky. The two sets of pictures are darling and quite the contrast. You have, however, the same wonderful spirit.

This is a note to all the readers who have never met you in person. I have been with Jill in two near disasters (one on an LA freeway; one in an airplane). She has been my loyal and suppportive friend through some personal disasters also. The warmth and courage you feel when you read her novels is completely true of her as a person.
It’s very seldom, I think, that a writer is quite as heroic in person as they are in their novels. We get, after all. to make ourselves better, in fiction. That’s not true of Jill. She is every bit as wonderful in person as she is in her novels. And that’s saying something because, if you’ve never read her, she is an imaginative, heartfelt and elegant writer. Funny also. I would, myself, never have become a writer without her inspiration.

And P.P.S. I apologize for the errors in punctuation and spelling in the previous post. I’m a fast typist and a poor proofreader. I forget this is public, and I should be careful.

    Thanks.
